The 9 benefits are:
1. The old-age pension only applies to the bottom 70% of earnings. Up to 300,000 won will be paid. In the case of basic old-age pension, ordinary people can receive KRW 253,750.
2. With health insurance benefits, dental implants and dentures can be treated at a 30% reduction in the out-of-pocket cost. However, you can only receive support up to 2 times after the age of 65.
3. Medical benefits over 65. The government provides free vaccinations such as influenza vaccine, polysaccharide vaccine, and pneumococcal 23-valent vaccine. Please note that you can receive various vaccines or vaccinations in addition to the medical benefits supported by the state.
4. For knee arthroplasty, basic livelihood security recipients over 60 years of age, the next lowest class, and single-parent families can receive support of about KRW 1.2 million in surgical expenses.
5. You can receive support for dementia check-up, treatment, and management expenses. People over 60 can get a free screening test at public health centers. In addition, up to KRW 30,000 per month can be supported for pharmaceutical and medical expenses for dementia patients who have an income of less than 120% of the median income and are taking dementia medicine.
6. Comprehensive care services are available. Comprehensive care services provide services that help seniors to do things alone or care for them during the day. These services provide support to other families so that they do not have problems in their economic activities. Comprehensive care services for the elderly aged 65 or older are selected after considering various items after identifying the economic situation of the household and the health status of the elderly. For long-term care class and 160% of standard median income, visit/day care services such as meals and cleaning are provided, 27 hours or 36 hours per month.
7. The subway or urban railway is free. To use it, you can apply for a card or get a one-time ticket issued at the station. When using it, you must prepare something to prove that you are over 65 years old, such as an ID card or health insurance card. However, please note that benefits do not apply on weekends or public holidays.

8. Recipients of the basic pension benefit receive up to KRW 11,000 reduction in communication fees per month.

Those who participated in the Korean War or the Vietnam War will be paid 320,000 won per month as an honorary allowance.

Inheritance tax and personal deduction for up to 30 million won per person. In the case of income tax, 1 million won is deducted per year for direct descendants living together over the age of 60. There are also capital gains tax benefits. Capital gains tax is exempted if parents and children each own a residential space and then combine them. Let’s take an example.
