How to use Socar 2
1. Sign up for Socar
To use Socar, you must first install the smartphone application and sign up. In addition, a driver’s license and payment method must be registered to make a reservation.
Download the Socar app on your smartphone. After that, you can register your driver’s license and payment card. However, you should keep in mind that Socar can be used from the age of 21 or older and from one year of obtaining a driver’s license.
2. Make a reservation
Socar provides “Go to pick up” and “Call here” functions. There is a “go to pick up” function that allows you to set the usage time, select the location and type of vehicle you need, and make a reservation at the nearest Socar zone, and also provide a “call here” function that allows you to call the Socar to the place you want.
Book Socar
Go to pick up – If you selected “Go to pick up”
As the map appears, the surrounding Soka Zone is displayed. You can find a car that matches the car type and available time you want and make a reservation.
Call Here – If you selected “Call Here”
Enter the address of the pick-up and drop-off location and the usage time. A fee will be charged for this method.

3. Finding and using a vehicle
You can check the detailed information of the Socar zone where the vehicle is parked in the Socar app. You can easily find the vehicle by turning on the emergency lights or sounding the horn with the smart key in the app. As a caution, you can use the smart key only when the Bluetooth function is turned on.
Before boarding the vehicle, you should carefully check the exterior, interior, oil level, and vehicle condition. If you can use it 10 minutes before the reservation time, you must take a picture of the exterior of the vehicle before using it and upload it carefully to see if there are any traces of damage. You should check carefully in advance so that there is no unfair situation.
Socar usage fee
The biggest advantage of Socar is that unlike rental cars, you can use it for as long as you need and pay only for the amount you use. Reservations can be made for a minimum of 30 minutes or in 10-minute increments, and rental fees, insurance premiums, driving fees, and high-pass fees apply. Rental rates vary flexibly depending on conditions such as vehicle type, region/soca zone, day/time, peak season/off-peak season, etc.

Therefore, even if the vehicle repair cost exceeds the deductible, you only have to pay the deductible according to the product selected, and if the amount to be paid is less than the deductible product selected, the actual cost will be settled.
